As New Mexico’s only dedicated children’s hospital and academic medical center, the University of New Mexico Children’s Hospital has the most expertise in delivering advanced treatments for babies, children and adolescents.
UNM Children’s Hospital improves health outcomes through its research and technology. We draw on expertise from University of New Mexico School of Medicine, College of Nursing, College of Pharmacy and Comprehensive Cancer Center.
Located in the Barbara & Bill Richardson Pavilion, UNM Children’s Hospital cares for thousands of children from all over the state. The facility is New Mexico’s only Children’s Miracle Network Hospital.
Our mission is to provide the children of New Mexico with comprehensive, family-centered health care that is unequaled in the state and region.
We envision a society where all New Mexico’s children enjoy access to a full range of family-centered pediatric health care services that allow each child to achieve optimum health. We seek to enrich the quality of life of New Mexico’s culturally and ethnically diverse populations as we create, evaluate, apply and disseminate knowledge to improve the health status of infants, children, and young adults throughout New Mexico and the region.
