Writing a book is hard, but having to start from scratch again and rewrite a lot of the passages is tougher. That’s the position I found myself in back in 2013. I had my debut fantasy novel published in 2010. But much to my chagrin, I was told that it needed to be edited more and made more appealing to a younger audience. So with a heavy heart, I had to do a massive overhaul but it was worth it in the end.
Now with that done, came the next challenge: finding a new publisher as I had left my previous one. It took me six years to find one. Luck was with me, however, as I had help from a wonderful lady named, Cheryl. She helped me edit the manuscript and put me in contact with a new publisher. Now the book is out on Amazon and is being received well by readers.
The moral of the story is never give up and never let fear dictate your life. Always strive to do your best and eventually you will break through that wall. All it takes is a little hard work and determination. When that big breakthrough does happen, it will be all worthwhile. Merry Christmas, my friends, and many blessings to each and everyone of you for 2020.
