Dear Mr. Smith
A ho-ho-ho hello and a Merry Christmas to you!
I have taken some time out to write you this letter just to let you know how much I enjoy reading about the Moebius Syndrome Holiday Heroes everyday.
As you can imagine we’re quite busy up here in the North Pole at this time of year! The reindeer are busy making test-flights around the North Pole with my new aerodynamic sleigh with built-in GPS, the Wrap Artists – my elves who specialize in wrapping presents – are wrapping, the toy makers are making toys – and best of all – Mrs. Claus is in the kitchen baking Christmas cookies!!
A good few years ago a rather clever young elf whose name is Tekno, our elf in charge of technology, introduced me to the wonders of the internet. Now I must tell you that for someone like me who has been getting along just fine without email or Gmail for a very, very long time, this was a completely complicated new-fangled invention!
I had absolutely no idea that you could open and close Windows with just a click of a Mouse – a Mouse in the house that didn’t even bother my two cats, Carol and Eve!
And so it is with joy and wonder now that I sit down everyday and answer my letters via email.
All the boys and girls – and even some adults too – around the world who have Moebius Syndrome are very close to my heart. I so look forward to January 24th Moebius Syndrome Awareness day! Here’s hoping the next one will be an even bigger and better success than last year!
I think it’s important to show the world what brave and courageous people they are. If only there were more people showed such Heart, Humour and Love than the world would be a better place!
I must go now as Pudding, our adopted polar bear, has just stolen some of Mrs. Claus’s Christmas cookies from the table – as you can imagine she is hopping mad and there’s quite a commotion coming from the kitchen!
I look forward to seeing each one of you on Christmas night!
A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS TO THE MOEBIUS SYNDROME COMMUNITY!
